This was my first integrated brand campaign. It taught me integrated-brand-sized lessons.

RISE TO THE CHALLENGE

The brief: Reinvent the Honda brand. Emphasize its legacy of adventure and off-road engineering, while keeping the brand’s characteristic cleverness.

Our solution: Show Honda vehicles surmounting a series of ever-escalating obstacles. Always rising to the challenge. A visual motif of upward camera moves drives the point home, from the valley basin to the top of a mountain ridge.

ALWAYS AMAZING

For social, we wanted to show that the Rise campaign wasn’t just marketing: Adventure has always been in the Honda DNA. So we found rugged stories from real Honda drivers and integrated them right into the action.

AMAZING IS ALSO FUN

The campaign wasn’t all furrowed-brow seriousness. We created rugged stickers for fans to show off their own Honda adventures.
